The thing about storm chasing from my perspective is that I grew up in Los Angeles and even moving up to the bay area the whole "water from the sky" thing feels unnatural, even 16 years later.

Earthquakes aren't so bad - well, not if you have California building codes, anway, this isn't China. Yes, every now and again somebody will get killed by one here, most notably in '89 when part of the 880 collapsed but it's still fewer people than a good cold snap or heat wave can kill in parts of the country.

I reserve the right to retract this post when the Hayward fault goes.

I've lived in Kansas all my life.

Water, hail, and cattle falling from the sky are a way of life here.

The only thing we can trust is the earth not moving.

Thanks for the plug.

PS think I could get one of your models to pose in front of an EF-2 tornado?
